Another old school favorite of magicthegatheringrules is Repentant Vampire. Great card for power and totally rare. Got one of these as well and it won me many matches especially when I was fighting black with black and it went white. Appeals to that part of us that feels bad but wants to be good

This is old school for some. Giant spider was in my first deck and thusly endorsed by magicthegatheringrules. It to this day remains a favorite simply for the flavor text. Too often I find people focusing on the wrong thing. For instance the story where a gorilla takes care of a baby who fell down into its domain. Everybody is excited for the gorilla but what the heck were the parents doing.

I have been playing Magic The Gathering for years. I love the game for its chess like strategy plus the collection of it. The artwork is always fun to look at not to mention the often humorous flavor text.
